As a Senior IT Administrator with leadership responsibility, you take on a key role in our IT infrastructure. You manage and further develop our hybrid system landscape of on-premises systems and cloud services, ensuring the stable operation of our platforms for the travel industry.
What you will do
- Further development and, in the long term, leadership of the IT administration department
- Operation and administration of our hybrid system landscapes and internal IT infrastructure
- Management of local Windows servers, Azure cloud services, and traditional hosting environments
- Virtualization and container management (Hyper-V, Kubernetes)
- Network administration (switches, routers, VPN)
- Ensuring high availability, data protection, backups, and recovery processes
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization – when required, also outside regular business hours
- Documentation and quality assurance of the system landscape
What you bring
- Degree in IT or a comparable qualification
- Several years of solid experience in IT administration, ideally with leadership responsibility
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructures
- Proven expertise in Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, MSSQL)
- Knowledge of virtualization and container technologies
- Structured way of working and strong problem-solving skills

With our tour operator software DaVinci, we support tourism companies in managing complex processes related to travel production, sales, and booking.
Within the DaVinci Projects & Key Account division, we work closely with cruise companies on the further development of their software solutions – from gathering requirements and coordinating technical concepts to implementation. As a Software Consultant, you will collaborate closely with customers, development teams, and product management while taking responsibility for your own topics and sub-projects.
What you will do
- Support of tourism software solutions within a key account environment for defined customer areas
- Responsibility for dedicated functional and organizational topics – from requirements to implementation
- Gathering, structuring, and coordinating customer requirements
- Development of functional and technical concepts together with internal teams
- Support in effort estimations, decision-making processes, and proposal preparation
- Coordination of assigned topics in line with release planning
- Handling tickets and functional inquiries with a strong service-oriented mindset
- Execution of tests as well as documentation of results and coordination processes
- Close collaboration with customers, development teams, and product management
- Participation in workshops, meetings, and project appointments – occasionally also on-site at the customer’s location
- Moderation and support of customer meetings, when required also in English
What you bring
- Degree or vocational training in IT, business informatics, tourism, or a comparable qualification
- Experience in consulting, supporting, and further developing software projects – ideally within the tourism industry
- Structured and solution-oriented approach to requirements analysis, concept development, and operational implementation
- Understanding of technical interrelationships and software processes, ideally with experience in interfaces, data flows, or web services
- Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for collaborating with customers and teams
- Solid understanding of technical concepts and software processes
- Good German and English language skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer appointments

You will combine technical expertise with consulting skills, coordinating everything from ongoing system operations and new requirements to successful rollouts.
What You'll Do

Manage complete customer systems or individual components for our DaVinci customers, including ongoing support and further development
